“WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS” …. These were my thoughts at twelve at night standing in a tent in the middle of a field in the middle of nowhere with a god awful come down… Some people in the tent started to leave others looked extremely frightened…
Standing on stage was a… a…. well, it was Depotax but at the time I had no idea what it was. In order to describe it I think you had better take a look at the pictures.
Next… the music… Even more disturbing than the creature that was on stage was the synthetic madness of his beats and the rasp of his vocoded voice as he spat at the mic. Dark, oh so nasty but there was funk. Through the darkness you would get a glimpse of light every so often.. You would think everything was ok… but it wasn’t.
By the end of their set the come down had most certainly past..
